Ordering Policies
Finding Out Your Order Status:
To find out about the status of your order, please email us with your name,
contact information and the order you originally placed.
About Our Online Ordering:
We are able to take orders online securely 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If
paying with something other than paypal please contact us at
info@thinkingofyou-giftbaskets.com and provide us with contact information
such as name, address and telephone number so that we may call to get the
details just right for your order. We will then send you an invoice to your email
address and you can take the steps to pay via credit card through paypal email.
You do NOT need a paypal account for this, but you do need an email address.
Rest assured that this will be a secure transaction through a very reliable and
trustworthy site that comes highly recommended. Thank you.
Payment Methods We Accept:
We accept Visa/MasterCard/Discover/American Express- through paypal email,
check (must be cleared prior to shipment), money order, cash, and PayPal.
Sales Tax We Must Collect:
By law we must collect 7% sales tax for all non food items including orders of
1/2 food and 1/2 nonfood such as kitchen utensils and cutting boards that are
being delivered to or in Indiana.
Personalized Cards Enclosed With Gifts:
A personalized enclosure card will be included in all of your items with the
message that you choose. Please remember to include your name and/or
company name, so that the recipient knows who the gift is from.
Possible Substitutions:
All gifts and items that are pictured may be substituted. At times we may need
to substitute items within one of our gifts, to ensure freshness and timely
delivery. We will always substitute of equal or greater value, without
compromising the theme, design, color, or quality of the gift.
If Needing to Cancel an Order:
If you desire to cancel an order after you have made it please email us as soon
as possible, and we will do our best to stop it before it ships out. If the order
has already been shipped but not delivered, you will still be charged for the
shipping price and the return shipping, but the remainder will be credited back.
If Needing To Return or Exchange:
If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return the item in its original
condition for a refund of the purchase price (minus the cost of the original
shipping amount plus 20% restocking fee). Thinking of You must be notified
within 3 days of receiving the item. Please contact us prior to returning the
item so that we can inform you where to return the gift to.
If Gift is Damaged or Incorrect:
We pride ourselves in providing high quality gifts, however in rare instances a
gift may be shipped that is damaged, defective or is not the one you ordered.
You must let us know within 3 days of receiving the gift and we will then tell you
where to return/ship the gift to. At that time you will also be given the
opportunity to either have it replaced or be credited for it. If you do not want to
keep it and desire a refund, within 30 days after first notifying us you must
return it to us undamaged, in its original packaging and all of the original
package materials and items in place and unused/not worn. When doing so
please be sure to ship it back to us carefully repackaged so that no damage will
take place during shipping. If it is in new condition we must receive it back in
the same condition before receiving credit of the item. Once we have received
the items that you sent back we will then refund you the price of the item once
seen that it is in new condition.
Custom Gifts Just for You:
If you are interested in a custom made gift or gift basket please contact us by
email along with the details of what you are looking for and we will work with
you to create a personalized gift for any occasion.
Attention:
While our suppliers make every effort to ensure that only the ingredients
shown are included in your gift, it is very likely that your gift ingredients may
have been processed using equipment that may have traces of a variety of nut,
fruit, grain or dairy products. If the recipient or others the might consume our
gifts are highly allergic to common food products, for their safety we highly
recommend that you order one of our non-food gifts.

Shipping Policies:
We offer delivery of our gifts to any physical address within the United States.
Please keep in mind that Alaska and Hawaii may have higher and additional
fees. If you have any questions regarding shipping rates please contact us and
we would be glad to help you.
Our Order Processing:
Monday through Saturday we will process and ship your orders, except for
holidays. In the case of a holiday, it will be the next business day. Keep in mind
it could take 2 days to process your order. We ship as soon as possible.
Please do not order expecting same day shipping or shipping for a specific date
or time.
Our Shipping Rates:
All shipping and delivery fees are in addition to the price of the item you have
ordered. Please review all shipping information before submitting your order.
Shipping fees are currently $11.00 + 2.50 handling fee per item when ordered
online. If you are ordering an item you feel may be shipped at a lesser rate
please contact us and we can correctly add your shipping and send an invoice

The shipping and the delivery time frame can range from 3 to 7 business days
depending on the location it is being shipped to.
Local addresses within a 30 mile radius of Charlottesville are urged to order by
telephone to reduce the shipping rate and get hand delivery.
Valid Addresses Needed:
It is your responsibility to provide the correct and complete recipient address.
Be sure to carefully review all of the shipping information prior to processing
your online order. Include their phone number, suite, apartment or condo
number (if applicable), street names, street numbers, as well as the city, state
and zip code. We are not able to ship to P.O. Boxes, APO Boxes or FPO Boxes.
If an error has been made on the shipping address after you have placed the
order or if the shipping address needs to be changed please contact us
immediately and we will do our best to catch it before the item(s) are shipped.
Fees Assessed for Invalid Address:
If an item is returned due to not having the complete or correct shipping
information, a re-stocking fee of $20 will be charged to your original payment
method. If you are not sure of a delivery address please verify it with the
recipient prior to placing your order online. If our carrier requests a more
complete or corrected address after your item has shipped, there is a $15 fee
per item and it will be charged to your original payment method. If any of the
shipping carriers returns your item(s) to us as undeliverable, you have the
option of re-shipping the same item(s) to a new address and paying a new
shipping fee, or you may receive a credit for the amount of the item minus a
30% restocking fee. The shipping charge is non-refundable.
Hospital Delivery of Gifts:
We do not recommend shipping to a hospital as we are not able to guarantee
their delivery, as many times a patient has checked out of their room by the
time the item has arrived to them. There will be no refunds given if you place a
hospital delivery and the patient cannot be located or has been discharged.
Holiday Deliveries:
Please allow more time for shipping during the holidays and be cautious when
placing an order for delivery close to the season, as no refunds will be given on
late deliveries. Note that there may be some shipping delays during the peak
holiday seasons, so be sure to place your orders in advance. Although we try
our best to fulfill your delivery date needs, keep in mind that during peak
holiday seasons delivery times are not guaranteed by our carriers or by us.

Summer Shipping of Chocolate:
We do not recommend shipping chocolate items in the summer due to the
extreme temperatures during shipment. Therefore note that we are not
responsible or liable if you do so, and there are concerns with those items once

Product Shelf Life:
Please remember when ordering food that all have a shelf life. We carry
products that range in shelf life from 2 weeks to 2 years. If you are ordering
food with a limited shelf life please do so knowing this gift will get to its
destination before expiration. We will not refund for expired foods unless we
mistakenly shipped them expired. We do guarantee at least the 2 week shelf
life on items with a very short shelf life. Most of our products do have a 4-6
month shelf life, however there are some junk food items with less, and a few
goods we buy freshly baked that also are limited.
Fruit Baskets:
We are currently able to offer Fruit Baskets made custom. We purchase fruit to
order for each basket so there will be no refunds given for baskets containing
fruit. We can not refund any money for orders of fruit baskets that have been
fulfilled or that we have purchased the fruit for, however, if we have not yet
purchased the fruit, then we are able to refund if necessary.
WARNING:
We just want to inform you that we use skewers and steel floral picks to design
our gift baskets. These items are sharp, so you should handle with care when
you receive the gift.
